- These are good, basic clips for keeping a dresser closed. The strap is strong and can withstand a toddler pulling on a handle quite well. - These child safety straps are excellent! They are easy to install and can be easily removed with just a bit of heat. I've found that a hair dryer can do the job quickly and effortlessly. Adults can open them easily as they snap in and out, and at the same time, they keep my toddler away from things. They seem to be in good condition and are reasonably priced. They blend in more than I expected, so they are not too obtrusive. I would surely recommend them.

- I didn't think I would have to baby - proof my home until the time came to do so. Ha - ha. My child has just started walking really well and getting into everything without exception. These are extremely inexpensive and it comes with several of them, which is great because then I could stroll around my house and put a lock on the things that required one, with a few left over. There were no instructions included, but within a few minutes, you can attach it to the area by peeling off the adhesive covers and adjust the lock. It makes me think of a zip tie. Then you can pull the lever to unlock it. Very straightforward.

- These are the most inexpensive and effective ones I've discovered and utilized. They're extremely easy to install. Adults can snap them in and out to open, but it's impossible for any toddlers to open them. These locks are small and require a certain amount of strength from adults, not like those other bulky ones that look fancy.

- I don't understand how these are being sold at all. I attached all 8 of them to the places where they were required. And, would you believe it? Two days later, they had all fallen off completely without any interference from the child. It's really unlucky. I would send them back if they hadn't been used already. Now I've lost my money.

- Obviously, these had been opened and returned. The packaging was taped back together and then resold as new items. They were also dirty. See the photo. It's disappointing that they were advertised as new and sold at the same price as new products.

- Installing these was extremely easy! Moreover, they are very durable and stronger than you might expect. I was concerned that they wouldn't remain attached to the surfaces after my toddler had been pulling at them for a few months. But it was quite the opposite! They hardly move at all and they've been in place for a couple of months already! In fact, my oven door is rather heavy, yet a single strap is capable of keeping it in position. When locked, the oven door can open a little bit, but that's because of the edge between the corner of the oven and the door itself. The only drawback I can mention is that, when unlocked, the strap on the oven door folds towards the inside of the oven and gets stuck in the door when I close it. If you don't object to having child locks on the outside of your furniture or appliances, I would strongly recommend these! They're wonderful!

- Well, I'm not using it to prevent small children from opening drawers or cabinets. I'm using it to keep the drawers at my office desk, which won't stay closed on their own, shut. I'd rather have a new desk, but until then, these have worked extremely well. My peace of mind has been regained.

- I used two of them as closure devices for my tool box case. One came loose (but it was under constant tension pull). I used alcohol to clean the plastic case and then it held firmly. Probably it was my mistake for not using alcohol to clean it during the first attempt. They seem easy to use, well - made and are a good bargain for the price. If I need more in the future, I would purchase them again.

It's a strong 3M adhesive sticker, but make sure the surface is smooth and free of any residue. It's just a completely unlocked slide, so your child can easily slide off the unlockable piece. Therefore, you'll need to keep it out of your child's reach or put the adjustable part in a hard-to-reach place. If that's not possible, they're still semi-safe because they have to slide the adjustment piece all the way out to unlock, so it's more of a delayed opening device for persistent children.

I specifically needed it for my toilet because a toddler I often babysit has tried to clean the toilet with our toothbrush and I have caught him on multiple occasions. At least he loves to clean. These locks are the perfect solution. He can't open the toilet, which is a relief. I found them easy to apply and the adjustable straps make them useful in a variety of situations.
