The shoe was the right length and width, but the shoe on my right foot was too tight around the little toe. Using a shoe stretcher, two strategically placed bunion pads and a piece of damp felt inside the stretcher solved the problem. The only downside is that the pre-drilled holes meant I had to use two pads for the one correctly placed pad, and I wish they hadn't used so much plastic in the design.

These are great as far as wood goes. I wish it could be adjusted a little to stretch the upper, not just the width. Works great on leather. Didn't work so well on my Nike tennis shoes, which I wanted to stretch a little after washing. Easy to adjust and insert.

Good value for money. Comes with small bumps to enlarge certain areas which is a big plus. Husband suffers from bunions and it bothers him sometimes.

I needed to dilate the toe box of my shoe because that's where the discomfort was. These dilators did the trick. The shoe feels much better now. I no longer have toe cramps. The kit also includes attachments for dilating specific areas of the shoe, such as where you might have a bunion.

The shoe stretchers worked the role they were designed to do. I needed to lengthen my shoes by a quarter to half size and this seemed to be the most economical way to do it. This would have been a five star review if it weren't for the cheap plastic bag that the shoe stretchers came with - a simple cloth bag would have been much better. I can easily imagine the clear plastic portion of the included bag cracking and breaking over time.

The shoe stretchers stretch the length of the shoe just enough to make it fit, if not perfectly, then just enough to be tolerable to wear or better than a flabby fit of a size up. These shoe stretchers are of great quality.

I use these after every use of my spin shoes to keep them in good shape and they do not disappoint! I have a plastic version which is not as sturdy but these really keep them in shape and the wood helps absorb some of the sweat after a good class! Easy to use.
