I purchased an expensive set of leather dress shoes online in my usual size. To my dismay, they turned out to be too snug when they arrived. Fortunately, the shoe stretchers I got really solved the issue. I placed them in the shoes for approximately a week, and even increased the stretching halfway through. Now, the shoes fit comfortably. It's a fantastic product for such situations.

I have two pairs of 6.5" boots that were very uncomfortable on my feet and needed to be stretched wider. This stretcher works very well. I recommend trying to remove the insoles first and if possible wear the shoes without them for as long as possible. This way they will adjust to your foot and you may not need stretching. I tried this on one pair of boots and used the stretcher on the other. I used the stretcher pair for four days, once a day, two days per boot. If you have a lot of shoes that need stretching, I would recommend buying a set of two stretchers. In my experience, they seem to be very durable. I will update feedback if any problems arise in the future.

I bought these boots from a budget Chinese website years ago and mainly use them for costumes and cosplay. The problem is, I wear an 11 1/2 wide shoe, and the boots they sent were definitely smaller than advertised. I was really excited to try these out—I already own a couple of regular shoe stretchers, but they don't quite reach far enough into the toes of my cowboy boots to provide the needed leverage. These seemed like the perfect solution. Unfortunately, they're too large to fit into my women's size 9.5 boots. They would probably work well for a larger men's shoe, though. Setting up these stretchers was quick and easy, but I haven't seen much benefit beyond that. I'm trying to stretch a pair of leather tennis shoes and have cranked the stretchers as tight as possible. The shoes are visibly bulging, so it seems like they're doing something, but I have no idea how long it will take to see actual results. I left them in for over a week, but the shoes are still tight on my feet. The instructions simply say to crank them down, which isn't very helpful. I’m not sure if I need to use some kind of liquid or if I should use pliers to crank the knobs further, but that doesn’t seem like a good solution. It would have been nice if the product came with more detailed instructions. Given my experience with stretching running shoes, I imagine it would be even more difficult with boots. I'm not sure these stretchers are worth it.

It adjusts the toe and heel area of the shoe. It also has some extra little black nubs to help with bunions etc. in the shoe. This works best with real leather shoes that have some stretch. My synthetic shoes would fail after trying to stretch them. This kit does come with only one shoe stretcher which is a bit expensive, it would be better to have two.

I bought new boots and after wearing them for 2 weeks I was suffering from severe foot pain due to the small size. I was blown away by the quality of these shoe stretchers! These are heavy duty shoe stretchers and they work great! I spent about two weeks trying to break in my boots and suffering from severe foot pain. Stuck them in my boots and let them sit overnight on the painful areas of the leather and my boots were much more comfortable the next morning.

These shoe stretchers are awesome! Not only do they stretch the width, they stretch the length as well. There are little black blocks that you put in the holes to do this with little black bumpers. They are made of plastic and you can adjust the width and length, and it makes no difference if you have a left or right foot.

I bought this specifically to stretch my cowboy boots. When I put the stretcher into the boots it got stuck twice! It might work for shorter boots but definitely not for taller boots.

I put this device in my shoes and it lengthens them a little bit. The toe end separates and the heel end stretches so you can adjust the length and width. I think it's a nice little gadget.

You have to be a bit patient to avoid ruining your shoes. I find it works best if I tie it tight and leave it for 12 hours or so, then tighten it again, and so on. They do seem sturdy and well made and I think I will have and use them for many years.

Very good shoe stretcher. It does come with instructions but if you have used shoe stretchers before then it will be fine, the shoe stretcher is made of a tough plastic. The shoe stretcher is heavy and is held together with screws and bolts. Many of the internal parts are metal. I put quite a bit of tension on the shoe with no issues.

I have a pair of boots. It stretches out in the boot, but after 48 hours the stretch is either not good enough or not lasting enough to do anything. They are also very hard to get in and out of the boot. It is made of plastic and not sturdy at all!

It takes two people, not just one, and stretching one shoe at a time takes too long. This doesn't really work because it doesn't have the ability to stretch the opening of the foot, but only the length and width, which is not what we want.

They work great in any shoe that goes above the ankle, whereas those wooden shoe stretchers are difficult or impossible to adjust in boots and other high ankle shoes. Extremely sturdy workmanship.

This shoe stretcher works well. Just don't expect it to do its job in an hour or even a day. Depending on the material, it could take up to a week. Think about how long it takes to break in a shoe after walking around in it. But with a shoe stretcher, you can avoid blisters and sore feet.

So far it seems to be working pretty well. I don't tighten it too hard because plastic isn't as strong as steel. I tighten it gradually and let the leather slowly stretch. After a day or two I loosen it, check the fit, and readjust the tightness. There's no need to rush or over-tighten it. So far I'm happy with it.

I use this shoe stretcher to open up the toe box and make more room for my hallux valgus. It easily fits into my narrow shoes - boots (high and low), sneakers, loafers, and even sandals! It's super easy if you need to stretch out other areas of your shoe. It's very solid for hallux valgus. The only downside I would say is that it only comes with 1 shoe stretcher.

My only complaint is that it would have been nice to have a little tool provided to tighten the screws. Some of the little nuts tend to loosen up after use and fall off after a few uses. The boot stretcher is well made and much heavier than expected. Works great for my new boots, they are too narrow for my feet. Going up a size wouldn't work because they are too long and only come in a medium width, not a medium but a narrow. This boot stretcher adjusts the width perfectly and I can now wear my boots all day comfortably.

It was too long and would not fit in the shoe. My wife lifted the back of the shoe stretcher so she could put it in the shoe. She left the shoe stretcher in the shoe for a few hours. It will stretch your work boots in one go. Do not remove the insole of the shoe. You need to keep it in so that the stretcher is in the correct position inside the shoe.

The workmanship does not seem to be very good. I used it to stretch a pair of leather shoes and I estimate it increased the shoe size by about 1/2. When I took the shoe stretcher out of the shoe, there was a small screw in the shoe. The screw was obviously from the shoe stretcher.

I broke a bone in my foot a few years ago and when it finally healed it was a bit deformed and bulged slightly on the side. A pair of shoes put a bit of pressure on this area and were very uncomfortable to wear. I really wanted to wear them so I bought this to see if this problem area could be improved to make them wearable. The device comes with pieces that can be attached to various locations on the side to customize the stretch to your individual needs. For my needs it would have been nice to have the option to attach one of the pieces a little further back but I was able to place the device partially in the shoe to be able to use it on the area I needed in most situations. Another issue with trying to stretch a specific area was the material the shoe was made of. It was very firm and not easy to stretch and had the brand name printed on it which I thought was one of the reasons for the issue but after placing the device I tried heating the area a bit with a hair dryer hoping to increase the flexibility. I'm not sure if this helped much but the shoe did become a little more comfortable. I guess I'll have to keep working on improving the comfort but I think this device offers the best chance of achieving that.

The shoe is a US women's size 6.5 and the shoe fits just fine even though it's advertised as a size 6. I stretched it to the max and left it in for 3 days. The shoe does make it easier to break in but not as much of a difference as I was expecting. My other issue is that you only get one shoe stretcher which means it takes double the time since you can't stretch both shoes at the same time.

My white cloth running shoes stretch fine. The width does stretch quite a bit, but not much in length. My other pair of shoes doesn't stretch at all. I'm not sure if it's the material of the shoe that doesn't allow it to stretch, or if it might take more than 24 hours to stretch. Regardless, I'll keep trying and update my review if it stretches.

This shoe stretcher is very practical for me because I sometimes wear wide shoes. But it is not packaged in pairs. It looks well-made and heavy. I can't find where it should be screwed. I think the picture description is wrong. The black wheel is for extending the heel, while the metal roller is for widening the toe.

Seems to be limited to size 9.5 or 43. This is easily fixed if you stuff a sock in the heel. Recommend you buy two pairs as they should last a day or two on the stretcher.
