Merely shaking it causes the cards to fall out. Moreover, the mechanism has a tendency to make the cards eject forcefully, which is a significant drawback. Furthermore, it feels bulky and inconvenient when carried in the pocket. All in all, this product is not for me.

I purchased this wallet to replace an old popup card wallet that had served me well for three years. Unfortunately, this new one only lasted three months. The first issue is the size of the cash pocket. It's extremely small, especially when it comes to US currency. While it's possible to use it, it's far from convenient and clearly not well - designed. Bills stick out and don't fit neatly, so if you're looking to keep your cash concealed or carry more than just a few (5 - 10) bills, you're out of luck. The second and most significant problem is that the popup mechanism broke within a couple of months. There's a small metal spring inside that's supposed to keep the cards in place tightly, but it either snapped or malfunctioned. I've attempted to repair it, but without success. As a result, the cards are extremely loose and often fall out. Additionally, when you try to pop the cards up, they all end up at the same level, which is not how it's supposed to work. I reached out to customer service regarding this problem. They asked for a video to show the issue, which I found a bit strange but complied. After sending the first video, they requested another one to prove that the cards were falling out. Fine, I sent a second video. However, they then claimed that the cards only fell out because I shook the wallet. Granted, I may have jostled it slightly to demonstrate the problem, but I certainly didn't shake it vigorously. In fact, it experiences more movement in my pocket while I'm walking around. I know this because I constantly had to retrieve a loose card from my back pocket.

I received this wallet just yesterday. So far, the card - holding mechanism is working well. I've placed five cards in the card holder. I've also put my vehicle registration and DOT medical card in the area meant for cash, and everything has stayed in place. The cards in the slot are firmly held together and haven't fallen out as I've used it. As it stands, I have five cards in there. Apparently, depending on the thickness of the cards, it can hold up to 14. Since I don't carry a large number of items in my wallet, this one is ideal for me. Regarding the RFID protection, I'm fairly confident it's effective. Moreover, it's incredibly slim, even smaller than my cell phone, which is quite astonishing. I just need to let it "break - in" over the next couple of months and see how it performs long - term. If there are any changes, I'll be sure to update this review. I noticed the positive reviews from other users, which caught my attention and made me decide to give this wallet a try.

It's a pity because I really love this wallet, yet it has a significant drawback. The credit cards that it's supposed to "hold" can come out on their own. You need to be cautious when taking the wallet out, or else, as I have experienced, you can accidentally send the credit cards flying out of the wallet. Update: The seller got in touch with me and informed me that their newer models don't have this issue. I can confirm that this is indeed the case. The new versions have stronger tension in the card - holding slot. I'm not entirely sure what mechanism is used, but it might be some kind of spring that can move back and forth. Regrettably, this improvement isn't present in this current version of the wallet. I'm eagerly anticipating version 2.0 of this wallet as it has the capacity to hold a large number of bills quite easily.
