I purchased these with the intention of removing old gas from my motorcycle. The siphon did manage to function, yet only to a limited extent. The hose had a tendency to curl up within the gas tank. Additionally, the hose was a bit too thick, which might have been a factor contributing to its curling. I was able to extract around a gallon of gas before it ceased to work.

I utilize this device to transfer diesel into my tractor. It's much more convenient to siphon the diesel using this than to lift up a 5-gallon can. With just a single squeeze, it initiates the siphoning process. The flow rate is somewhat slower than what I had anticipated, but you can increase the speed by repeatedly squeezing it. Overall, it functions quite well.

This is a nice manual pump, yet it's not suitable for use on cars. Nearly all new cars are equipped with anti - siphon devices. So, if your sole intention is to extract gas from a car, don't purchase this pump.
